Jo-Ann

Office Manager and Financial Coordinator

Jo-Ann is one of the first smiling faces you will see when you visit Brentwood Dental Designs. She has worn many hats in the dental profession over the past 38 years. Her experience, bright smile and wonderful sense of humor are the reason she’s the go-to person at BDD! As a result, the team as well as the patients feel a sense of family here at the practice. Whether it be assisting with financial arrangements or treatment plans, she is here to help everyone reach their ultimate dental health goals.

Jo-Ann and her husband Tim of 29 years, have 2 beautiful adult children, Madison and Jack. Madison is a 2021 graduate from Virgina Tech Corp’s of Cadets with a bachelor’s degree in criminology, who now resides in Virginia. Jack is also a recent graduate from Virginia Tech Pamplin College of Business, who now resides in South Boston (his mom’s old stomping grounds) working in the financial industry. Now empty nesters, they are finding the time to travel with friends and family and fitting in quality time to visit their children. 

Rachael

Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Dental Hygienist

Rachael has been a hygienist for over 30 years and takes great pride in providing thorough but gentle care to our patients and their families. Her favorite part of the dental hygiene appointment is building rapport and getting to know our patients on a personal level, which allows her to customize their care according to their needs and desires. Rachael has recently transitioned from clinical care to being in a more administrative role as our Clinical Care Support Coordinator.

Rachael’s life is shared with her husband, John, and their two daughters, Madeleine, and Reagan. In her free time, she can be found at the beach (autumn and winter walks are their favorite), riding her Peloton, or cooking/entertaining for friends and family. As a New England native, Rachael loves nature and looks forward to the magic that each season brings.

Michele

Registered Dental Hygienist, HIAOMT

Michele graduated from the New Hampshire Technical Institute with an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2009 and is accredited with the IAOMT as a Biological Dental Hygienist. Michele joined the BDD team in 2015.

Imagine feeling as if you’ve just visited a spa…Michele’s goal is to provide a safe, comfortable environment for a truly relaxing hygiene visit. Her broad experience in the dental hygiene field allows her to cater to your needs. Along with performing comprehensive dental hygiene therapy, Michele supports, guides, and monitors her patients as they embark on their journey of attaining a healthy, beautiful smile!

In her free time, Michele enjoys spending time with her husband Daryl, son Dylan and her 3 Labrador Retrievers Wrex, Kash and Kobe.

Theresa

Registered Dental Hygienist

Theresa graduated from The University of Vermont and has been a Dental Hygienist for over 30 years. She has embraced all levels of learning along the way and seeks to inspire health, balance and encouragement for all of her patients.

Theresa is an active member of her church and outreach service programs. She volunteers her time to the infirm and elderly and leads the prayer team at her local congregation.  An avid tennis player who enjoys the theater, her 2 beautiful daughters and any reason to belly laugh, Theresa is loving life and has her sights on much travel in the future.  

Lauren

Certified Dental Assistant, EFDA 

Lauren has been working in the field of dentistry for over 25 years and can honestly say that she still has passion and a love for what she does! Lauren has been travelling and training alongside Dr. Johnson, in Functional Aesthetics and works with patients to create beautiful-and even more importantly healthy, functional ‘Smiles by Design’. She enjoys using her artistic skills while working on each individual case, to give each patient the beautiful confident smile they have always dreamed of! In 2024, Lauren decided to further her education and is now a Restorative Functions Certified Dental Assistant which allows her to place permanent composite restorations alongside Dr. Johnson.

Lauren and her husband Peter have lived in New Hampshire for almost 25 years. They have 2 sons, Will who is a farm manager at a tree farm and a diesel mechanic, and a younger son Logan who works in excavation, and plans to work as a welder in the future. Lauren is passionate about animals and rescuing those in need. They currently have 4 rescues: 3 dogs, Camo Hank, Ruger Blue and Bow Riggs -all Catahoula Leopard dogs, and 2 cats, Sweet Hadley and one-eyed Gilbert. In her spare time, Lauren can be found gardening, spending time at her beautiful ‘pool oasis’ making flower arrangements for friends and family, playing in the woods with her dogs, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Andrea

Dental Assistant

Andrea is one of the newest talented members of the BDD family. She has been a dental assistant for over 5 years and is the perfect addition to our team.  She has a natural caring, calming personality that can put even the most nervous patients at ease. We love watching Andrea grow, learn and thrive in the dental field, and we are so excited for her future here!  

Andrea recently moved to New Hampshire from Maine, and loves being closer to work and friends. In her spare time, she enjoys watching the latest TV series and Sci-Fi movies with her cats Snoopy and Harry. 

Cazz

Dental Assistant

Cazzandra or “Cazz” is one of our dental assistants and has been with us since 2013. She loves being part of BDD and working alongside this group of amazing ladies. Cazz is here to make you feel comfortable. She will calm you, breathe with you, and always laugh with you. Help providing a more peaceful appointment is important to her. Making sure our patients leave with a smile is her goal.

Cazzandra and her husband Mark were born and raised here in NH where they too have settled down, raised 3 children, and built a home together. Cazz loves to hike, her favorite place to be is on top of a mountain, preferably in the White Mountains. She enjoys camping, concerts, walking her pups, yoga, running, rollerblading, cycle class, and any activity that makes her move. There’s not a lot of down time and she prefers it that way. She believes that every day is a gift and lives life that way.

Holly

Sterilization Technician

Holly is our newest addition to BDD. She comes to us with 4 years of experience working in emergency veterinary medicine. Holly is working on mastering Zoom whitening and taking a deeper dive into the dental field.

Holly and her fiance Jeff live in Strafford, NH with their Lab/mix Suzanne and cat Bonzai. Jeff and Holly are getting married this August 2025, after 8 years together. In her spare time-You can find Holly at her local plant shop, baking, or curled up on her couch with her pets and a good book. Together, Holly and Jeff enjoy visiting Holly’s family camp in Maine and various dirt bike tracks around New England.
